Schaffer Residence at Wildwood provides assisted living for 10 residents in a premier location just south of Quesnel. The seven-acre property is in a quiet residential area surrounded by trees and mountain views. It includes a large courtyard, walking paths, vegetable and flower gardens and even a greenhouse tended by residents themselves. Deer, song birds and other wildlife are frequent visitors to Wildwood!
Wildwood Assisted Living provides a new model of seniors housing and care in the Quesnel area. The concept of "Ageing in Place" following the "Eden Alternative" philosophy allows residents to live according to their preferred lifestyle, with services available to support them as their needs change. There are plenty of comfortable and inviting areas for visits with family, special events and favorite pastimes; visitors are invited to enjoy delicious meals with residents in the dining room and participate in their activities.
